Pros And Cons Of Baquacil Chemicals
Its snowing here today in Wisconsin and we couldn’t be more ready for spring and summer! We’ve been away lately from blogging doing all of our planning for our 2013 pool season and If you haven’t noticed… our BRAND NEW website design! We are extremely happy with how it turned out and believe it is now much more user friendly.
(see BAQUACIL® CDX® Pool Care Guide for water testing tips.) If your dealer finds that your pool water contains metals, add Metal Control as follows: For every 2 ppm of metals present and for every 10,000 gallons of water, use 1 bottle (1 1/4 lb.). It also results in fewer faded swimsuits or pool liners. Another benefit of Baquacil is that it's more stable and does not lose its effectiveness in sunlight or heat. Baquacil also claims to maintain stable levels over 10-14 days even with only one dose of the chemical. Baquacil also doesn't corrode parts and pieces in. I am looking for some thoughts on Chlorine vs baquacil use. We are installing a 16x32 inground pool, (in PA) We know that the baquacil is more expensive, which I dont mind if its easier, worth the money and provides long lasting results.
I feel as though I have quite an array of topics I’ve covered here on this blog for both swimming pools and spas. So, what I would like to do is open up a line to hear topics you’d like to know more about. Algae, pools, swimming, safety, cleaning, ANYTHING!
